It's a Party! Celebrating the Music of Jeff Haas
Featuring the Jeff Haas Quintet & the MI Young Lions

Join us for an evening dedicated to Jeff Haas's award winning music, bringing together favorite veteran performers and the next generation of jazz artists to explore Jeff's distinctive body of work.

The Jeff Haas Quintet kicks off the night (7–8:30pm), drawing on deep jazz traditions while weaving in elements of funk, R&B, and other global influences. The ensemble highlights the expressive range and rhythmic vitality that define his music.

The MI Young Lions, a nine piece ensemble,  take the stage (9–10 p.m.) offering their own interpretations of Haas’s compositions. This set reflects the continuing life of his music as it moves through a new generation of performers. Arrangements by Chris Glassman and Randy Napoleon.
